Began as a discussion about interior plants, this project grew into a unique collaborative custom furniture and art installation for a tech and fashion company.
Wanting to create a series of connected elements that could provide character and operate at the scale of the large two-story office interior, we designed a series of planters and furniture elements made up of simple and ubiquitous, but quietly luscious, everyday materials.
Our concrete masonry block planters were burnished smooth to the touch, and the reclaimed local Coast Live Oak furniture was stained deep midnight black to amplify the rich texture.
